Jarenya/ Rens / Rensie is my amazing older sister. It’s really hard to describe Jarenya because there is truly no one on the planet like her. When we were growing up, she inspired me so much. She introduced me to so much music, video games and internet culture. I thought she was the cooooolest and she always made me look cool and ahead of the trends.

Jarenya is super loyal, funny, joyful, considerate, generous, attentive, and comforting. Being in her presence always feels safe and warm. She is the epitome of an older sister. She also has the most amazing powerful laugh that can switch the energy of any room into total joy. I’m so lucky to be so close to my older sister despite us living in different places throughout our lives.

I’m very thankful to have such a caring and loving big sister.

VENDELA’S BEST FRIEND / MAID OF HONOR

Isabelle “Zikai” is my GIRL! We met at music school in Sweden and she has been like a family member ever since. Zikai is an intelligent, funny, super - talent that inspires me in many ways. I will never forget the first time I met her. I was so inspired by her confidence, coolness, generosity, and boldness.

Isabelle was also the first friend of mine properly in the music industry. When we were growing up we’d write songs together in my bedroom, cry to Jhene Aiko songs and she would also bring me around to all her industry events. She is a very smart, open, beautiful, and powerful person.

We’ve grown a lot through the years and I’m so grateful to still be growing together.

VENDELA’S SISTER / BRIDESMAID

Olivia is my treasured younger sister. Olivia feels as close to my own child as a person can be without me actually birthing them. When we were growing up, I felt like the whole world was in her eyes. I still feel that.

Olivia is an intelligent, imaginative, funny, deep, thoughtful, peaceful person who has a very calm energy to her. She reminds me of the ocean (which is funny because she’s very afraid of the ocean). She always teaches me things and is way smarter than I am in so many ways. She is also really dialed into culture and world events and I love listening to her talk about her many thoughts on those things.

I love all of her and I’m very lucky to have her as my sister.

VENDELAS BEST FRIEND / BRIDESMAID

Lauren is my (longest) best friend. We met way back in primary school in Australia and have been friends ever since. I truly have no idea what I would be up to if I didn’t have Lauren to ground me for so many years. She is the yin to my yang!

Lauren is like a diamond. Very solid, beautiful, strong and when you have one, you know its value. I have sooo many fun memories with Lauren. From playing in the Warrandyte river back in Melbourne, taking cringy photos and posting them on Facebook to celebrating New Years in Berlin when we were broke and 18.

I am so honored and thankful she’s traveling all the way from Australia to be here for our wedding day. Lauren is truly a part of me and I love her completely
